Valentine's Pearl Bridal Updo & Fresh Glowing Makeup at The Croft

I had the pleasure of creating Valentine's bridal hair and makeup at The Croft, and she looked absolutely beautiful.

A detailed updo with pearls

Valentine's hair was a detailed updo finished with pearls woven through the style. Pearls are such a lovely way to add a little sparkle and elegance without a heavy headpiece, and they catch the light beautifully in photos.

We kept some soft face-framing pieces at the front, which softens an updo and makes it feel romantic rather than severe.

Fresh, glowing makeup

For her makeup we went soft and fresh, with glowing skin that looked natural in daylight and still held up beautifully for the evening. The pearls, the face-framing and the glowing makeup all worked together perfectly.

Final finishing touches

Those last few minutes before a bride steps into her dress are some of my favourite – checking every pin, adding the final touches and seeing her confidence grow. It was such a lovely wedding morning to be part of.
