If you haven't trained with me before my name is Alison and I have been a bridal hair stylist for 15 years after completing a fashion and photographic bridal hair and makeup course in2009.
I initially worked from home before moving to my salon in 2018 because of the volume of work.
Over the years I have attended many different hair courses to ensure I am keeping up to date with the latest bride fashion and styles, as I have seen first hand how things can change dramatically in the bridal industry.

How to apply false lashes, foundation finishers, primers and finishing sprays.

On the first day I will be demonstrating the application of face and eye makeup on a live model. Following, the students will practice on the life like face boards which are as close to natural skin as possible.
On the final day the students will apply face and eye make up on a live model giving you the opportunity to showcase their new found skills and take pictures to start building their portfolio.

What qualifications or prior experience do I need to enrol on a bridal makeup training course?
In general no prior experience or qualifications are required for you to enrol on any of the training courses.
How long is the training course?
Two full days which include theory and practical
Will certification be issued on completion?
On successful completion of the course certification will be awarded.
What do I need to bring to the course?
Everything is provided to complete the course, but a pen and paper and mobile are optional.
Will I be able to start my bridal makeup career once I have completed the course?
Certification will enable you to obtain insurance and then begin your exciting career in the bridal industry.
Do I have to provide a live model on my final day?
You would need to bring a model on the final day.
If you are unable to please let me know two weeks in advance so I can arrange one for you.
